Fort Wayne to host MBL Finals

Four teams are set to meet this weekend in Fort Wayne to decide the 2019 Midwest Basketball League champions. The MBL Finals will be hosted by the Fort Wayne Vision on July 20-21 at Concordia Theological Seminary Wambsganss Gymnasium.

MBL Semifinalist at-a-glance

Dallas Kings (9-1) - MBL South champions are on a nine-game win streak after dropping their season opener. Despite the long road trip the Kings are well rested idle since June 29.

Eagan Bulldogs (15-4) - captured the West title handing the regular season winner Cedar Valley their first-ever home loss. Battle tested, the Bulldogs are winners of seven straight games.

Fort Wayne Vision (14-2) East champ and host team have not lost since May 4-5 when they dropped a pair on the road in Chicago. They finished unbeaten at home in 2019 and are confident with an 11-game win streak.

Cedar Valley CourtKings (16-2) are the at-large team after a superb regular season. Their only losses were to Eagan who they hope to get a fourth matchup with in the championship game.
